Zakopane – events in October

October in Zakopane is an explosion of cultural events. The autumn weather, often more gracious than in other parts of the country, sunny and warmer – conduces to leaving home for exhibitions, literary meetings and concerts. Villas, museums and galleries look exceptionally beautiful in autumn, which further encourages visiting these places. And the events? Most of them are cyclical, such as festivals or literary evenings presented in Zakopane for years. It is worth getting acquainted with the cultural offer of the city, see temporary and permanent exhibitions, and visit the Witkacy Theater. In the meantime, go for a long walk and look at the mountains. Maybe already sprinkled with snow, maybe not yet, invariably inspiring poets, writers and artists coming here. Let’s feel like them – and let’s go to Zakopane!
