It has happened, the slopes can be opened and the “Góralskie Veto” action will provide accommodation and meals for everyone. Yes, highlanders, having no other choice, open tourist facilities on January 18th. At a press conference on January 14, Sebastian Pitoń presented that the owners of guesthouses and restaurants have no other option not to lose businesses that have been created over generations will oppose the government bans. Especially because the government does not know how long the lock-down will last. And the Provincial Administrative Court in Opole stated directly that any restriction of the possibility of conducting business activity or civil liberties resulting from the constitution should be introduced by law, if we do not have the introduced state of natural disaster. The government has announced a billion zlotys of aid for mountain communes, but who will actually receive aid and when nobody knows.

Fresh snow has fallen in Zakopane, the weather is beautiful, so everyone should come here to ski from the 18th of January 2021. There will probably be no huge crowds of tourists, don’t expect queues, shortage of parking, and of course smog in the lower part of Zakopane. Enjoy your time in Zakopane!!!

Let us support beautiful Podhale, after all, in most cities in Poland, there is already a rebellion against lockdown among hotel and restaurant owners. Each of us knows perfectly well that wherever they go, the facilities will ensure sanitary safety for their guests, after all, none of us wants to get sick.
