We recommend in November

November in the Tatras this year is still attracting visitors with great weather, almost summer temperatures. Admittedly, on some days the intense wind “halny” will not let us go into the mountains – it is just extremely dangerous, but that does not mean that we will waste time in Zakopane. And we do not mean the offer of restaurants and shops, as well as permanent attractions such as thermal baths and aqua parks, however these can also be a pleasant entertainment. There is a lot going on in culture. In November, there is an accumulation of events related to the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining its independence. It is celebrated in the whole country, and Zakopane is not an exception – the more strongly that the this town was the first area that gained autonomy in 1918. November is also the time of remembering the dead – musical and literary events named “All Souls Day” are permanently inscribed in the autumn landscape of Zakopane. There are also other spectacles, workshops, meetings and concerts related to the development of the recently created Center for Native Culture in the renovated Czerwony Dwor.

Below is a list of the most interesting events in our opinion. We are certain you will have remarkable memories of Zakopane.
With letters PL we sign those which can be not really interesting for people not knowing Polish at all, and visiting Zakopane without guide, who could be an interpreter. With letters INT( international) these are where knowing Polish language doesn’t matter so much.
