It is no different now, when in Zakopane churches you can listen to the sounds of music and think about your loved ones, with whom we often spend Christmas and cultivate dear traditions. For 14 years, the City of Zakopane, together with the Zakopane parishes, has been organizing carol concerts, thanks to which it wants to bring children and adults closer to the birth of Christ. The Festival of Christmas Carols, Pastorales and Songs held in Zakopane churches “It’s good that you Jesus were born near Giewont…” allows the most beautiful Polish carols and pastorals to be sung for the faithful by excellent artists. The first concert was traditionally held on Christmas Eve – December 24th. The festival will last until February 2, 2023, the Candlemas Day.
