This weekend, the competition of ski jumpers in the World Cup will take place in Zakopane, where Polish athletes will fight for the next high places. The now completed 4-Hills-Tournament was won by Halvor Egner Granerud. The second place was taken by a Pole – Dawid Kubacki, who will certainly want to take revenge on the Norwegian on Polish soil. The next competitions are held in Zakopane on January 13-15, 2023.

Are tickets for the Zakopane World Cup 2023 still available?

People who want to watch the competition of ski jumpers in the World Cup in Zakopane can still buy tickets for the qualifications. If you want to watch Friday’s competition to qualify to the individual competition held on Sunday, you must pay PLN 100. Tickets are valid for standing places.The spots for the team and individual competition have already been sold out.

Ski jumping hill “Wielka Krokiew” – what is the situation with snow?

 In an interview for 24tp.pl, Bogusław Pokrywka – the president of the Tracktech company, which is responsible for snowing the facilities of the Central Sports Center in Zakopane, emphasizes that the ski jump has enough snow to enable the World Cup competition to take place without any obstacles. Currently, everyone is waiting for the announced natural snowfall. Regardless of whether it falls or not, the hill will be 100% ready for the competition.  

Ski Jumping World Cup overall standings – what does it look like now?

 After the 4-Hills-Tournament, the leader of the overall World Cup classification is still Dawid Kubacki of Poland. Although the rivals are trying to catch up with him, the Pole has a slightly more than 100 points advantage. Second place is Anze Lanisek (Slovenia) and third place is Halvor Egner Granerud (Norway). Piotr Żyła is currently in the fifth position and Kamil Stoch in the ninth position.Other representatives of Poland after the Four Hills Tournament were ranked as follows:
